Samantha Jewel is a Carbon Warrior and a Climate Solutions activist.

“Let’s stop talking about the problem and just get on with fixing it!”

With 27 years dedicated to advocating for soil health and stewardship, l've been at the forefront of transforming soil carbon into a national resource, or 'brown gold,' for international trade. This initiative aims to bridge the significant gap in the value we place on food and biodiversity, addressing the alarming decline in nutrients due to insufficient replenishment. As a proud member of Australia's first family restaurant chain, established in 1965 and serving 50,000 customers weekly, I pivoted from that journey to passionately championing soil health. I'm excited to share my new, accessible guidebook designed to help everyone navigate this crucial topic!

Skeptic or not, is the earth affected by us, and if so, what can we do about it? Whether you are in agreement with the science or not, as one great speaker stated:

If you eat you are involved!

‘Elegant Solutions’ is a thoroughly engaging, highly informative, easily readable book posing achievable solutions for addressing the climate issue through the food we eat and the way we grow it.
